Carols by Candle Light at Dundrum Methodist Church
The
Dundrum Methodist Church invites you to their annual Carols by Candlelight
service on Sunday, December 15th from 7-8pm. Join them for some carols, readings and mince pies. Just the thing to get you in the Christmas mood. Everyone is welcome. There is plenty of parking available both in the church grounds and in the Wesley College carparks.

Public Meeting on the Abolition of the Seanad
I’d like to invite you all to a public meeting I’m holding on the forthcoming referendum on the abolition of the Seanad. This public event will take place at the Taney Parish Hall at 8pm on Thursday Sept. 26th.
Also speaking will be Kevin Rafter (@kevinrafter), author and political academic who is campaigning for the abolition of the Seanad with the One House Group.
Please do come along and share your views. All are welcome so spread the word.

River Dodder Catchment Flood Study
Have
your say on how flood risk is to be managed in your area!
The Dodder Catchment Flood Risk Assessment & Management (CFRAM) Study
addresses the existing flood risk around the River Dodder, its five main
tributaries (Dundrum Slang, Little Dargle, Owendohr, Whitechurch and Tallaght Stream)
and estuary, and the potential for significant increases in this risk in the
future.
The results of the study – including flood maps, a Draft Catchment Flood
Risk Management Plan - are now available for formal public consultation. An
accompanying Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) report is also available,
which identifies, evaluates and describes the likely significant effects of implementing
the draft plan on the surrounding environment.
Comments are
invited from the Public until 6 June 2023 on the flood maps, draft Plan, the
SEA and NIS. All these documents are available on the project website www.dublincity.ie/Pages/DodderFloodingStudy.aspx and in hard copy at the following locations:
