Election eve
There is so much to say about the experience of these last weeks, but I won’t be saying it tonight!
We finished the campaign in town this evening, at the Trinity LUAS stop. The mood was upbeat and whatever the outcome, I’m proud of our team’s efforts.
The most memorable moment of the day was being approached by a Dubliner who simply shook my hand and said: “I hope you’re elected; you’re a good man”. He promptly disappeared into the crowd.
Thank you, whoever you are, you made my (last) day.
