Minister Alex White lays flowers at Charlie Hebdo office
Minister for Communications, Alex White T.D., visited the Charlie Hebdo office on Monday, January 12th in Paris, where he left a bouquet of 17 white roses in memory of the people killed in terrorist attacks in the city last week.
The flowers were accompanied by a message, which read: “On behalf of the Government and the people of Ireland, in memory of all the victims of the horrific attacks, and in solidarity with the people of France in defence of the values of tolerance and freedom of expression.”
Minister White was en route to meetings at the European Parliament in Strasbourg.
