White welcomes technology jobs boost for Sandyford
Labour TD Alex White has welcomed the announcement of 100 new jobs at a cloud computing company in Sandyford.
Commenting on Salesforce.com’s expansion in Dublin South, Deputy White said: “This is great news for the local area, and emphasises that the technology industry is an area that is key to our economic recovery.
“The company has been recognised by Forbes as the most innovative company in the world and this is just the kind of company that the government and the IDA are working hard to attract into Ireland.
“Salesforce.com has already become a significant employer in Dublin South since it was first established in 2000. This announcement of an extra 100 posts is another small step on this country’s road to recovery.”
