CarTrawler To Create 400 New Jobs in Dundrum

I warmly welcomed the announcement by local company CarTrawler that it will create 400 new jobs over the next three years at its Dundrum Headquarters.

The progress of CarTrawler is a great example of an indigenous Irish company competing and succeeding globally. These additional 400 jobs for Dublin South are a hugely significant development and a further sign of our renewing economic.

My government colleagues and I have also maintained a keen focus on securing our recovery by driving strong job creation. This type of indigenous, enterprise growth is central to what our Plan in government is all about and we will continue to stimulate the economy so that innovative companies like CarTrawler can create much-needed jobs in Ireland.

The first phase of 200 hires has already commenced across a range of high quality functions including senior roles in Business Development, Customer Operations, Data Science, Finance and Engineering.

To enable the company’s ongoing growth, CarTrawler will also be opening a new International Customer Centre of Excellence in Dundrum supporting customers in 174 countries.

This great news announced by CarTrawler was boosted with the latest positive figures released by the CSO. Between September 2013 and September 2014 there was a 9.95% drop in the numbers signing onto the live register in the Nutgrove/Rathfarnham region. Dun Laoghaire has seen an 8.18% drop over the same period of time.”
